    APEX books & reference are in short supply. Whilst I never read this book cover to cover I have found sections useful as any for reference and certainly easier to quickly get an answer than the online help.

    Over 20 years of working with Oracle and I have bought many books on the subject - this is the only book ever I have felt let down and ripped off by. Badly written and edited, either waffling and patronising at times, or when details are required it just glances over the subject matter.

    If you want to learn AE, don't bother with this book, even the standard Oracle documentation and help screens is better than this.

    Will stick with Apress in the future and avoid the "Easy Oracle" series written by this lot. Anybody want to buy a door wedge?
