Customer Reviews:
+ Simple, logical and well laid out. - Too simplistic, in some areas August 19, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Textbook is clear and well laid out. Although the examples are simple and content is entirely exam focused, there is sufficient breadth and range of examples/questions to develop a good understanding of the module. Having said this, a significant minority of the explanations are *too* simplistic and fail to develop key points. This is especially true with differential equations, a major topic in this module. I used this book as my main course and revision text, and supplemented it with "Advanced Maths: A2 Core for Edexcel," which develops some of the finer details to the required depth (and arguably further.) This combination enabled me (an average maths student) to score 100/100 on the C4 unit examination.
