It contains everything you need to master the basics of the complete suite of Microsoft Office 2000 programmes--Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher and Outlook--as well as how to use them productively on the Internet. Unlike in practically every other guide you'll find large headers and graphics- intensive spreads to help you pinpoint what you need and drag-and-click your way to success in half the time that those other books take. You won't learn much about the inner workings of Office but the interface is set up so you don't need to; as long as you know which buttons to press you're in business. Whilst this book is excellent for beginners, it is also excellent for trainers who want to give this book as a basis for courseware.It is very graphic and to the point, as well as being very colourful. This makes it an essential book for beginners. If I am training a delegate, and they have a query, I can explain what they want to know, and show them where this issue is in the book, very quickly. There isn't the usual 2 Chapter garbage, before the subject gets to the point. It is a book that delegates can take home with them and refer to forever without getting confused.
