An excellent book August 2, 2004 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have just worked through this book and is by far the best book I've seen using Excel. It shows you how to do many things in Excel that are not covered in many books, particularly those by Microsoft ! An excellent book for students, teachers, lecturers or anybody wanting to learn Excel.
An extremely helpful book! April 18, 2002 5 out of 7 found this review helpful
On entering my ICT course i was advised straight away by my teacher to purchase the book. It is great value for money. I think it is a vital tool for getting a good grade in coursework at AS level. The book is designed in a way that assumes you have no prior knowledge in spreadsheet use. I could not have succeeded with my spreadsheet project coursework (AQA) without. It is a must buy!
A useable book for an 'AS' or 'A2' spreadsheet project December 12, 2001 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
I have found this book very approachable for teaching the essential spreadsheet skills at 'AS' and 'A2' level. The chapters are self-contained and suitable for the average double lesson. There is a worked example of a car insurance quotation project, together with the write-up. There is also a section on useful tips in Excel. A bargain!
