    Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Covers a wide range of financial views but in little depth   September 28, 2001

    Easy to read.

Uses a wide range of Excel basic features and functions gives insight into some of the possibilities from added VB. Not much depth in this area.

Too little made of the massive potential of added functionality by combining inbuilt features with VB and potential of linking with large external databases.

Not enough reference or examples of the use of OLAPCubes, Pivot Tables and the ineractive report query capability by combining Excel/Query and external databases..real Business analysis, Decision Support capability (ex DataWarehouse)

Seems primarily aimed at financial sector and those who want get an idea of what Excel can do...with worked examples. Covers a lot of ground.

Not really aimed at business analysts and not guide to the systems development community.
Well written and easy to read.

I bought it because I thought that (from it's title) it would provide deeper insight into the analytical capabilities, beyond Excel's basic functions. That's the reason for my 3 stars vote.

If had browsed through it in a bookshop I think I may still have bought it...but for different reasons.

    Thank you for shopping ExcelBookstore.co.uk!
