This software version of the fabulous Kenneth Grahame best seller, is really great value for money. The gameplay, high quality animation and superb voice characterisation, make this title a must for all parents looking for a fun title for children aged five and over. There is a very simple and helpful verbal guide provided by Badger, that runs throughout the whole adventure, ensuring that children don't loose interest by getting too stuck on some levels. Rik Mayall, Michael Palin, Alan Bennet and Michael Gambon all add their creative talents to the various levels of the adventure, and it's lovely to hear those rich West Country tones of one of my childhood favourites, Johnny Morris, once again! My six year old Daughter loved all of the different challenges that you have to overcome to help rid Toad Hall of the invading Weasels - She especially loved playing the game where you 'swot' the Weasels, as they raid Toad's Larder! All in all, this interactive adventure offers incredibly informative and well presented play, and ... truely great value for money.
