As you can see by the other reveiws IT DOES NOT RUN! i managed to find the solution to this problem buy refering to the Tech Support FAQs on there web site & spent the evening messing around installing new software and changing security settings! Now working find a discoverd that the mojority of the course content is left without any explanation or help & you cannot select the students level of study the higher level work is mixed with the foundation work??? perventing a student from building up as they go & progressing as they should!

There expanation is: Due to the latest updates to Flash Player and Internet Explorer, the Letts program is prevented from running correctly.
In short. The product does/will not run as it should (There for SHOULD BE RECALLED! by the company) & the software IS USELESS as a self study revision tool!

I think most people buying this title would be attracted by the 'Grade C or above' guarantee. It's a total swizz. In very small print on the back cover it states that this guarantee only applies to pupils who have been entered for the higher tier paper! Note: if you have bought the software and it won't run you need to download a different browser, Letts recommend the slimware browser which can be downloaded for free. It's ridiculous that for [...] the product doesn't work with the correct specifications. It's terrible that the guarantee does not apply to the people most likely to buy the CD. I would avoid this disk. To be honest I'd have given it no stars at all out of 5 but amazon won't allow a rating of less than 1.

I purchased the mega pack of these interactive cd roms so that my daughter could study for her GCSE's at home during her long term illness. I was so excited to think that I could make her studying more accessible but was enormously disappointed. Out of the pack, the science cd's worked fine but the maths and english are of an older format and would not work on an up to date PC. This surprised me as they are all said to be suitable for the 2006/2007 syllabus. I have had no support from Letts and they have not responded to my emails seeking advice. I feel totally cheated and very let down as I am unable to offer alternative help to my daughter who is not strong enough to study with pen and paper. Letts have clearly let us down here and Amazon appear to be supporting them through offering products which are marketted as current when they are not.

I can no longer run this CD, or the GSP GCSE Maths cd, they both just freeze up. This has happened since I turned on automatic downloads from Windows I've not been able to run them. I've turned off my pop up blocker, downloaded all available updates from Windows, yet still CAN'T run them. Theres nothing in technical support at GSP's website to address this issue, despite searching their frequently asked questions. So be warned! you could be buying a waste of space - I've taken the precaution of testing these discs on a friends system, who has exactly the same problem, they load up and instal from the disc, you get to the second page, then can't go any further, it just freezes! So for me, they were a complete waste of money, BE WARNED!!
