    5 out of 5 stars Brilliant   November 20, 2007
As someone who grew up reading Nancy Drew stories I was so pleased that there are now games to play. I bought this and have found it to be Brilliant. Typical mystery and full of puzzles to solve, I will definately start collecting the games now as well as the books.

3 out of 5 stars Extremely tricky   June 25, 2007

The Curse of Blackmoor Manor was the trickiest game I have ever tried! It was fun at first but it just got too tedious eventually. You kept on going around in circles and I hated the unreal way the characters stayed in one place forever..as in the housekeeper always potting an everlasting supply of plants in the conservatory and the little girl staying in her room writing in an everlasting notebook. I got so far and then was stuck. Completely lost. It was a great feeling when you opened a sealed door or completed a game but it was too hard to get to the end - I still havent managed to finish it!
I wouldn't advise this game for under tens, mainly just because it is too difficult!

5 out of 5 stars MADDENING BUT FUN!   June 8, 2007

I have played almost all the ND interactive games but found this one to be the most difficult. It took me no less than a year to complete!!! Okay, I wasn't doing it every single day and once I got to a particular part of the game, which rotated my patience beyond endurance, I gave up for a while. Even the cheats couldn't get me through some of it - it was only through painful perseverance that I finally managed to get to the end game. I'm ashamed to say that, by that time, I was so exhausted by the whole thing that I cheated to high heaven and low hell to get to the end.

There are some really fun aspects to this game and I became something of a world champion at Skull and Bones. LOTS of secret passages and tons of puzzles that will keep more patient brains than mine occupied for a time. Apart from the setting looking like it has been decorated by a medieval monkey, it was a great game to play and I definately recommend it to ND fans!

    5 out of 5 stars Complicated?   April 30, 2007

I think that this was one of the best Nancy Drew games ever, but it was as some people have said, complicated. It has comfusing parts,(alheluigha for the cheat sites!), but we got there in the end. Although, the 'English' accents made me think that this game was set in the victorian era, not 2007! This was basically the only down side of this game, but apart from that it was great! I have completed this game, Secrets of the Old Clock, Creature of Capu Cave, and every other one apart from Secrets can kill, the first in the series. I highly recommend buying this game for hours of fun with the kids or just yourself!

5 out of 5 stars Favourite game of the series   April 29, 2007

The best Nancy Drew game in my opinion, challenging with difficult games, and a nice storyline. Probably not your best introduction to the series as it can be a little complicated, but I much prefer it now to some of the more simple games in the series.
