Nothing But A Headache November 23, 2008

I got this to load on a Sony Vaio laptop running XP Home Edition SPK3.
I un installed my old protection product AVG and installed this with no issues or errors.
It identified my home wireless network okay and then did it again.
Under the products quick tasks it has an option to update the definition files which it said were up to date and yet the toolbar indicator was saying I was out of date.
Under the scan option was also another option to update pattern files and this DID update the a/v and spyware definitions.
The program completed a full scan and found no infections or spyware.
Today however when I powered it up the machine was going incredibly slowly and after finally managing to load the task manager I could see it was caused by vsmon.exe which is a core component of this product.
I tried a shutdown and restart which did not help.
Right click of the toolbar icon and close down Zonelabs did.
I could then load Zonelabs from the start menu and the program loaded vsmon.exe with low cpu utilisation.
I would not recommend this product to anyone.
Support site is confusing and uses a different naming convention for their products and their forum is messy to find any help (which I did not).
My other three machines are running Kaspersky Security Suite with no issues and I regret ordering this product.
