I upgraded from 2003 and this does not seem radically different. However, the interface looks more modern. Having the window with appointments and tasks coming up at the right of your mail screen is a very helpful feature.
Just what I needed... May 29, 2010
... to enable full syncing of contacts, calendar, notes and pretty much everything else for my new HTC HD2. Also it is very useful in its own right as an excellent organising tool.

I had previously bought Office 2007 and this appeared to work fine with my Outlook Express, however when I tried to do a Mail Merge to send an e-mail to many people and attach a letter and calling notice I couldn't. A caption appeared stating "To enable the Mail Merge to work properly Outlook 2007 is required" or words to that effect. So I bought said software only to find after much struggling that I still couldn't add attachments. Really, I think I was conned! Who would design software for e-mailing and not include an attachment facility? Microsoft!
Apart from this, both softwares work well and I'm pleased with them. It would have been useful to know that the Mail Merge facility would not support attachments.

I purchased this product as discribed NEW Microsoft Office Outlook only to find I was sent a plain CD with a copy of the MS outlook. I do not ever use pirate MS product and if I had known this was a pirate I would not have purchased it. I contacted the seller who told me to get lost - end of story from the seller.
However when I contacted Amazon they acted immediately by providing a full and speady refund, i can only assume that Amazon dumped the seller from their site - so buyer beware!
