 MS Office 2007 Home and student. March 10, 2010

This is a three computer edition. It worked O.K.on my laptop with windows 7, but will not work on the one with Vista.

I brought this through Amazon because the cheapest I could get it for here (Finland) was for 98 for 1 user. I did think it might have some limitations because it is the English version, but I was thrilled to see that when you load it you can choose up to 5 languages, English, Danish, Finnish, Norwegen and Swedish. For me this is a huge bonus, as we have 2 offical languages here, Finnish and Swedish, but I also want to do things in my native English. This means i can do all my stuff, and my children load it onto their laptops and use it for homework. I've given it 4 stars as I've only had it a few days, so haven't had a chance to play with it much yet, but what I have seen is pretty much what I was expecting to get from Microsoft.

The 2007 MS Office, is a huge improvement on its predecessor. Much faster with easier connecting links, simpler to use.

I suppose it is a sign of our times that we can no longer purchase software. Modern commercial greed now insists that you simply rent it. This item allows you three hits and you are out. That covers our three Domestic computers. Heaven help us if one of the Laptops crash and we have to reload the software - we will just have to buy it all over again.
