I immediately returned this item via Amazons truly wonderful return service . I did not even connect it up let alone switch it on . The reasons were that the "manual" which consisted of 8 A5 pages (held together with a sheet of cardboard and cling film ) was contradicted by 3 A4 separate pieces of paper and the whole thing was in my opinion very confusing . In addition the software was up to the same standard as the hardware which I thought was poor.
I decided that my slow ,five year old equipment would be superior and at least my printer works which may not be the case with Vista .
If in future I decide to get a new computer I shall avoid cheap items as one tends to get what one pays for .

Ordered a new tower & was incredibly impressed by the speed , efficiency & very low cost of Amazon's delivery to me here in Italy, however, I am not at all happy with the operating system, which is not nearly as user friendly as Windows XP for a computer moron like me. Neither my laser printer nor my ink-jet printer could be used with the new system & many of the CD-rom genealogy programmes I use constantly will not load using Windows Vista, so, like Queen Victoria, I am not amused.

I have been very pleased with the performance of this computer. I needed to contact the manufacturer shortly after I bought it, as the back up Windows CD had not been included with everything else in the package. Have to say, their customer service is excellent. I had my CD within a few days. The PC loads very quickly and I used all of my existing peripherals, hard ware and soft ware with no trouble at all. I can definitely recommend this product.
